True Vanilla Icecream with colorful toppings:


Ice cream is a sweetened frozen food it's typically eaten as a dessert. Without ice cream summer season is incomplete. The meaning of the name "ice cream" varies from one country to another country. Basically ice cream means "frozen custard" or "frozen dessert".

The ice cream-like food was first eaten in China. The first ice cream was invented in China around 200 BC when the milk and rice mixture was frozen and packing into the snow.

Today I will make a homemade Vanilla ice cream with garnishing different types of colorful toppings. Vanilla ice cream is well-known ice cream its smooth consistency and flavor made me like crazy. 

So I will start making mouthwatering Vanilla ice cream.

INGREDIENTS:


*1/2 cup heavy cream

*1 cup whole milk

*1/4 cup sugar

*A pinch of kosher salt

*1/2 vanilla beans or 1 tsp vanilla extract

*5 egg yolks

*1/4 cup sugar

Preparation:

Step 1:
 
I combined cream, milk, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan and added some pinch of kosher salt. I split the vanilla beans and scrape seeds from the vanilla beans. I added pod or vanilla extract. I brought a mixture just to a simmer and stirred it to dissolve sugar.

Step 2:

Remove from the heat. I am using vanilla beans and I whisked 5 large egg yolks and 1/4 cup of sugar in a medium bowl until pale, about 2 minutes. After that, I whisked 1/2 cup warm cream mixture and whisked yolk mixture into the remaining cream mixture.

I cooked over medium heat, stirred constantly, until thick enough to coat a wooden spoon,2-3 minutes.

Step 3:

I strained custard into the medium bowl set over a bowl of ice-cool water. Let it be cool and I stirred occasionally. I processed the custard in an ice cream maker accordingly to manufacturer instructions.

Then I transferred the mixture airtight container and cover it up, and freeze 4 hours to 6 hours.

After freezing the True Vanilla ice cream, is garnishing colorful toppings and ready to serve. I enjoyed the true vanilla ice cream with my family and friends.

This is my first ever homemade ice cream. It was a lot of effort and energy making my first homemade ice cream. It looks awesome and tasted also nice. The true Vanilla ice cream was delicious as well as super creamy and too perfect.
