This week I am back to focusing on the nutrition aspect of healthy living and a healthy lifestyle. I want to encourage myself to get out of my comfort zone and try incorporating and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables into my diet this week.

Starting my morning with a green smoothie can help me set a healthy tone for the entire day. The Green smoothie is loaded with antioxidants rich superfoods and perfect balance with nutrition and good taste.
Most of us don't eat enough fruits and vegetables, whole grains, healthy proteins, healthy balanced diet. So, this Detox Green smoothie can help with that.
The Detox Green smoothie is like a liquid vitamin. For this daily life hectic schedule, I feel sickness coming on. This Detox Green smoothie cleanses or detoxes my body and fuels my body with healthy ingredients. I love it and my body also loves it.
Here I will start my healthy nutritious Detox Green smoothie recipe.
Ingredients:
2 cups organic baby spinach -These leafy green vegetables contain powerful plant compounds and antioxidants, like lutein and kaempferol that decrease the risk of cancer.
Green Apple-This fruit is lower in sugar and may help in weight loss and reducing the risk of heart diseases.
Pineapple-This fruit is rich in antioxidants and contains bromelain, a protein digestive enzyme. This enzyme breaks protein down into amino acids and may boost my digestion.

Banana-Banana is a great source of potassium, it helps to lower blood sugar levels and reduce the risk of heart diseases. This fruit prevents also kidney diseases.
Ginger-Ginger is anti-inflammatory effects and may help to lower blood sugar levels.
1 cup parsley-This herbs are rich in many vitamins, especially vitamin k, which is needed for blood clots and bone health.
Lime-Limes are loaded with antioxidants and a great source of Vitamin c, these properties boost my immune system.
Cucumber-This vegetables are 95 % water naturally detoxify my body and high in Vitamins A, B, C and contain phytonutrients that provide anti-inflammatory, antioxidants, and anti-cancer effects.
Celery-This vegetables are high water content and contain a good amount of Vitamin A, K, C, and as well as antioxidants.
1 cup water
1 tablespoon flax seed
Method:
I placed all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and puree until smooth. I served with ice and top with some cilantro and some lime juice to balance sweet and savory.
Detox Green smoothie is a low-calorie food and loaded with nutrients dense. I love this cause these drinks detoxify my body and boosting my immune system and keep my body full of energy.
