Sikkim is one of the finest places to explore nature's beauty. One of my best travel destinations where I recharged and energized. Today I arrived in Kaluk is a small village located in the Himalayan foothills of West Sikkim. Kaluk is nearby West Sikkim's capital Gyalshing in East India.
KALUK:
Kaluk is a beautiful small village located in West Sikkim. The beautiful sunrise is seeing on my homestay rooftop. Kangchenjunga is the world's third-highest peak is visible from Kaluk. Kaluk is populated by a mix of Nepalis and Bhutia.

Kaluk is popular with tourist visiting the place of West Sikkim and is famous for scenic beauty. A bunch of beautiful flowers was blooming everywhere. A small monastery was nearby in my homestay. In the morning I woke up and visited the monastery. A monastery is surrounded by beautiful flowers.
All Buddhists lama prayed in the morning time. Some of them child lamas were playing in front of the monastery. They were too cute and I talk with them and clicked pictures with them.
I love the monastery atmosphere there was a pin drop silence. My mind must be very soothing and calm. Buddhism signified the power of the union of the male and female. Child lamas can be seen in and around the monastery as the place also serves as a training center of lamas.
The entrance to the monastery is lined with colorful prayer flags. Tourists are allowed in the main hall of the monastery but pictures have been recently prohibited.
Some foreigners were sitting in the main hall of the monastery. I walked everywhere in the monastery and after that, I prayed and enjoyed recitation.
This monastery is the very oldest monastery in Sikkim state. Kaluk is an attractive tourist place in West Sikkim. After visiting the monastery and enjoying outsight nature's beauty I was very happy. I came back to the homestay enjoying the view of mount Kanchenjungha from the terrace.
Nature is always speaking, nature speaks in a language understood within the peaceful mind of the sincere observer.
