Today I will go to Khecheopalri lake ...The real meaning of Khecheopalri is the Heaven of Padmasambhava. The lake is located near Khecheopalri village,147 kilometers in the West Sikkim district the Northeastern India state of Sikkim.

The lake is considered to be a very holy lake. The Khecheopalri Lake is also part of the Buddhist religious pilgrimage circuit of the Yoksum, the Dubdi Monastery, the Pemayangste monastery, and the Tashiding monastery.
The lake is surrounded by a board-leaved mixed-temperature forest. The lake is full of different types of fish. It is also famous for tourist and trekking places.

The scenic view of the lake is marvelous and the climate of the lake is monsoonal.

The shape of the lake is in the form of the foot which represents the foot of Buddha, which could be seen from the surrounding hills.

Khecheopalri lake is known as a "Wish-fulfilling lake".People believe that shiva exists in the "Solemn meditation inside the lake".One of the largest festivals held here every year is two days in March/April. Which is attended by a large number of pilgrims in all parts of Sikkim, Bhutan, Nepal, and India.
The placid waters of the lake are visited by many pilgrims and tourists. The lake is surrounded by a lovely tropical forest.
After visiting the beautiful lake I went to the nearest monastery where blooming lots of beautiful flowers. The monastery is nearby the lake.
After traveling the lake and monastery I returned to the hotel and share my experience through the blog.
