After traveling to Pelling I arrived in Lachung city, the other beautiful city in Sikkim. Lachung is located in the North Sikkim district near the border with Tibet. Permits are required for travel to North Sikkim.

Lachung :
Lachung is a town and hill station in Northeast Sikkim, India. Lachung is the elevation of about 9600 feet from the Lachung rivers and Teesta rivers. The word Lachung means "small pass".

The visiting place of Lachung is Yumthang Valley and Lachung Monastery and beautiful scenic view. At first, I decided I will visit Lachung city. I went to Lachung in March. Tourists come from all over the world to visit Lachung city from March to October.

I stayed Homestay in Lachung city. The homestay atmosphere is so nice and their hospitality is very commendable. During the winter season, the town is usually covered by snow.

Most of the Lachung's inhabitants are of Lepcha and Tibetan descent. They all communicate Nepali, Lepcha, and Bhutia languages.

I arrived at Lachung Monastery. Lachung Monastery is a Buddhist Gompa in Lachung Valley, Sikkim. The Monastery is very beautiful and ancient. The Monastery hosts famous mask festivals every year.

I captured each and every photo of Lachung city and Monastery. I love the Monastery atmosphere and ambiance. The chilling ambiance mesmerized me.
I saw red prayers flag were hoisted at the entrance of the Monastery.
The Monastery surrounded by rhododendron trees and different types of trees.
After visiting Monastery I went to the homestay and memorized the mesmerizing view.
The whole day was so hectic and I was very tired and went to the bed for another day another journey.
